How to deal with more and more waste concrete is a thorny problem of pressing governments to solve. According to a certain percentage of the aggregate mixture to form recycled aggregate or recycled concrete aggregate after crushing and grading the waste concrete block. Using of recycled aggregate as a part or all of aggregate preparation of recycled aggregate concrete is one of the effective ways to recycle waste concrete. For application of recycled concrete to lay a solid foundation of theory and experiment, we must strengthen the research of recycled concrete performance. This paper will take experiments to study recycled concrete mix designs and basic mechanical properties.According to "Specification for mix proportion design of ordinary concrete" (JGJ 55—2000). In this paper, designning the recycled concrete mix proportion which calculating the amount of additional water and replace the regression coefficientα(?) and ab are invented by Deng Shouchang and Zhang Xuebing. Based on the recycled concrete mix proportion calculating the high performance recycled concrete mix proportion is by adding water reducer, fly ash and silica fume, to provide the theoretical basis of the high performance recycled concrete.Based on the compressive strength test of 288 standard cubic specimens, this paper explores the damage form and failure process of recycled concrete. Contrast the compressive strength between recycled concrete and ordinary concrete; explore the influence of compressive strength by adding admixture in recycled concrete. This paper also has tests on tensile strength, flexural strength and elastic modulus of recycled concrete, find these three kinds of recycled concrete performance has declined. Finally, based on the compressive strength test of 224 standard cubic specimens, this paper explores compressive strength development law of recycled concrete.
