Community Service Center Sustainable Design Of Hongqing Mountain Customs Town In Xi’an Baqiao District

Nowadays with the rapid development of urbanization, a great number of new rural communities have been constructed in Xi’an. However, the design and research of rural community service building can not keep pace with the fleetness procession of urbanization. Thus, on the one hand lead to the inadequateness and unsoundness of infrastructural facilities, on the other hand lead to the scarcity of public space in which the villagers find their spiritual belongings and in which culture is communicated and inherited. Ancient and beautiful countryside are rapidly disappearing. Based on the actual project of " Community Service Center of Hongqing Mountain Customs Town in Xi’an Baqiao District ", This paper emphasizes on the sustainability issues of the design and construction of the new rural community service center in Xi’an, aims to explore the design strategies that have exemplary significance, as well as to provide reference for the establishment of related regulations and disciplines in the area of the architectural design of the rural community service.Considering an actual engineering project, by adopting the methods of literature research, example analysis and on-the-spot investigation, this paper summarizes and explores the sustainable design principles in architectural design that apply to the rural community service in Xi’an: a sustainable economic development mode, cultural development mode, environment protection mode, and a sustainable management mode. According to the comprehensively applied research on the theories and methods in this paper, practical conclusions were drawn up and were conformed to reality of the design plan descriptions of qualitative and quantitative.This study lasted about one year, in view of the main issues, like material-culture dualattributesoftheruralcommunityinfrastructure,theregionaldifferences,andeconomyandpracticalityoftheconstructionsetc.,therearemultipleplansbeenproposedandcompromised,andthemaincontentsofthedesignworkinclude:①overalldesign,namelythestudyingandexploringoftheinterrelationshipbetweenresettlementareaoverallplanningandthecommunityservicecenter.②singlebuildingdesign,namelythedraftingofeachplanhastoundergotheseprocedures:discussionofideologicalandtheoretical,combinationofmodelsandshapes,deliberationofscaleandproportion,outdoorspaceenvironmentdesign,indoormainspaceconstruction,functionlayout,comparativestudyondetails,streamlinedesign,fireprotectionsystemdesign,structuralsystemconceptualdesign,architecturalequipmentconceptdesignetc..③designexpression,namelythedesignresultsvisualizationexpression,includingtheproceduralmodelexpression,theproceduralcaddrawingexpression,finalrenderingsprogramandcaddrawingsexpression,expression,programreportandpresentationexpressionetc..implementingtheworksabovestepbystep,communicatinganddiscussingwiththeprincipaltimetotime,solicitvillages’ opinionsanddemandstimeandagain.finally,choosetheoptimumoneastheultimateplan.intheprocessofpracticalengineeringdesign,summarizesandinducesthebasicprinciplesofsustainabledesignstrategies,researchmethods,designmethodsandpropergreentechnology.finallydesignandtailor-madethecommunityservicecenterwhichissuitableforhongqingmountaincustomstown.thepapercarriesthroughin-depthanalysisanddiscussionfortheproblemsthatoccurredintheconstructiondesigningprocessofthenewtowncommunityservicecenterinxi’andistrict,andtriestoexplorethepracticalstudydesignwithdemonstrationsignificance.
