The Regional Express Of Contemporary Architecture Based On Heritage Protection And Historic Reproduction

Globalization is a symbol of human progress, but also have some damaging effects, especially the destruction of tradition has become increasingly apparent.With the worldwide development and globalization continue to strengthen, foreign culture shock for the Chinese domestic architecture can not be ignored.Qinglong Temple is the famous Tang Tantric monastery.In 1980’s, with the Reform and Opening, Xi’an’s tourism and cultural undertakings carried out and Qinglong Temple need protected. There’s two sets of important buildings, Qinglong Temple Kukai Monument Courtyard and Huiguo and Kukai Memorial Hall to commemorate the Studying Monk Kukai and Kukai’s mentor Huiguo. Kukai Monument Courtyard is the first Tang style architectural creation of master Zhang Jinqiu in Xi’an. Huiguo and Kukai Memorial Hall ’s design based on the lower hall on the 4th archaeological data and it’s a Tang Dynasty wooden temple architecture designed by Yang Hongxun. Then Qinglong Temple experienced two protection planning. Qinglong Temple is relatively early in the case of Xi’an based on protection of the ruins and monuments reproduced regional expression of contemporary architecture. Therefore, it became the object of this paper.The main goal is invest in the development process of the whole project, supplemented with historical research, try to restore the entire regional architecture creation through multi-faceted multi-angle. The second chapter describes the background and the main reason for the overall regional expression of contemporary architecture in Xi’an; The third chapter introduces the history and twice Protection Plan of Qinglong Temple; The fourth chapter describes the procedure of design and construction of Kukai Monument and at the meanwhile Regional Interpretation of the buildings; The fifth chapter describes in detail Huiguo and Kukai Memorial Hall design process. The sixth chapter summarize the entire event. Interpretation the deeper meaning and significance of regional value creation based architecture and monuments in the form of site protection generated reproduction.As the most important part of the culture of Xi’an,Han and Tang culture is an important part of building regional expression in Xi’an. Expand and develop the concept of regional of Xi’an’s architecture regional expression. Exploration regional architectural expression and understanding on the basis of Promote cultural renaissance and emphasizing specific historical environment background and cultural characteristics of the city.This is the author’s main intention.
