With the high-speed development of modern science and technology, information industry gradually in the form of different infiltration into various industries.For construction, by far the most popular is Building Information Modeling(BIM) technology in the construction industry comprehensive application in various fields although Current BIM is mainly applied in the construction on the following aspects: architectural design, structural design, mechanical and electrical design, document management, cost estimate, construction management, visualization, etc. But the professional use of BIM modeling software to create their sharing between the professional model exist certain obstacles, so in this paper, the large-scale construction project management based on BIM, making project at various stages according to the effective information transmission, to better controling the project schedule and cost, ensure project decisions rapidly and accurately.First of all, completing the main body modeling of structure by the use of BIM structure modeling software; Secondly on the basis of 3D model, using navisworks Manage software implementation from the 3D model to construction stage 4D model of seamless docking; Finally, through the model to extract various professional physical quantities, the introduction of comprehensive progress rate, introducing BIM technology project milestone schedule control, check the job completion time, whether the project schedule and the plan is expected goals, so as to achieve the aim of beforehand control, make the owner on the whole project controls the be clear at a glance. In order to more accurately measure and measure the actual progress of construction projects, to carry on the effective dynamic cost control, based on 4D model using the earned value analysis method, through the comparison and analysis work plan budget cost(BCWS), budgeted cost of work completed(BCWP), the actual cost of work completed(ACWP), the three basic parameters for each month of the cost and progress deviation. Then analysis the difference among the target of our expectations, cost and progress,combining comprehensive progress rate and schedule performance index, analyzing of the progress of the project, construction project schedule performance, cost effective measure, which plays a great role on determining the actual execution of the project. In this paper, it takes one Xi ’an international center project as example, studying how to make use of BIM technology to large-scale construction project management, and using BIM technology to large-scale construction project management, fundamentally solve the disadvantages of traditional project management methods,and improve the management level of the engineering project managers.
