In response to the energy crisis and the requirement of the sustainable development strategy, photovoltaic power generation technology has been widely used. At the same time, with the progress of power electronic technology, and the demand of the society, the development of power supply is becoming a hot spot of scientific study. Solar energy is one of the most application prospect of renewable energy,and photovoltaic panels have the characteristic of mobility, these features are very beneficial to the photovoltaic cells used in portable devices. At present, a lot of portable power supplies have some disadvantages, such as single function and poor stability. Therefore, from the perspective of practical application, combined with the advantages of photovoltaic technology, this paper focuses on portable solar power supply, the circuit structure, control logic and process data and protection are analyzed and designed.First of all, the paper introduces the characteristics of the photovoltaic cells and lithium battery, the key point of photovoltaic cells is the most power point tracing technology, several maximum power point tracking technologies are analyzed and compared; point of the lithium battery application is charging control method, constant current constant voltage and pulse charging method are gave in this paper.Secondly, different DC/DC converter models are built. Through to the BUCK and the BOOST circuit modeling, the general model of DC/DC converter is presented. At the same time, the feedback control loop of the DC/DC converter is modeled and the transfer functions are calculated, which provides the references for circuit design. Paper also has carried on the modeling to the inverter, and the calculation of PI parameters in the feedback control is given for reference.Again, the internal circuit structures are designed and circuit diagrams are given in the paper. Maximum power point tracking, charging ways of control, SPWM algorithm and PI algorithm are implemented using DSP. After the experiment, the accuracy of analysis method and circuit design is verified.Finally, the control and protection of the portable solar power supply are analyzed and designed. The power experiment was carried out and the experimental results showed that the prototype has good performance.
