Now a day's electricity is one of the basic necessities of mankind.As the demand of electricity is thriving day by day,there is need to exploit renewable sources of energy.Considering the home appliances,my thesis "stand alone home electricity supply system using solar energy" will help to power extraction from solar panel the utilizing that power for the electricity requirement of load.Bangladesh is one of those regions where the electricity crisis in everywhere.About 20%of the total population have no access to electricity in Bangladesh and most of those people are in the rural and coastal areas.basic electricity need is the biggest problems for their development.This situation is very alarming in Bangladesh.electricity is one of the most basic rights and needs of human and society.Bangladesh government and NGOs recently have taken few projects to overcome these problems.However,the beneficiaries of those projects are mainly the urban community but not rural and coastal community.To develop a nation,it is very essential to upgrade their urban and rural community simultaneously.For solving the very basic light energy,especially in rural,isolated and the coastal community of Bangladesh,it was proposed to develop standalone solar system.The renewable resources are the most effective for sustainable development of society and economically effective for small-scale power generation.For design,optimization and implementation of the proposed system,Chittagong coastal region,Bangladesh have chosen where renewable energy sources are mostly common.The system is designed with reverse osmosis process using renewable energy(solar)for rural or coastal communities.HOMER software used for power generation simulation and use proteus software for design.The simulated results shown that(standalone solar system)renewable energy system are the most economical for rural area in Bangladesh.However,the proposed system mainly designs for rural,remote and coastal communities.It is really hard for those communities to maintain the biomass system.using photovoltaic system is suitable for those communities,which is second best economical system.After a thorough experimental investigation and analysis of all the parameters of the prototype system.It was found that the proposed system had fulfilled the national and international standard of standalone solar system.
