Design And Simulation Of High-speed Cigarette Sorting Line

As a special product, cigarette sorting usually design an individual system for use in logistics. Due to the different needs of various grades of cigarette sorting logistics center, it is necessary to design dedicated logistics system, therefore the development of Chinese cigarette logistics industry is lagging than other countries, and there are some technical monopoly. In this case, it is a serious problem to research a set of cigarette local high-speed sorting lines in line with the actual logistics needs.The present situation of research and application of high-speed cigarette sorting lines in China and other countries were analyzed in this paper. A set of cigarette sorting line including one vertical cigarette sorter, two channel-type cigarette sorters and one belt machine was designed, and its classification code was determined in the paper. During the design, two-dimensional assembly drawing and parts diagram were drawn, the hit-block of vertical cigarette sorter and arm angle of belt machine were described detailed.In Solidworks software environment, a three-dimensional modeling of high-speed cigarette sorting line was conducted and the critical components were leaded to Ansys Software to map meshing and do the modal analysis in this paper. A theory supported was put forward to reduce vibration by the results of the modal analysis. The workflow was analyzed and a workflow modeling was designed of the high-speed cigarette sorting line in this paper. Finally, the simulation motion for the vertical cigarette sorter hit-cigarette module was made and simulation analyzed was made in Solidworks Motion environment in this paper.According to the modal analysis and the simulation analysis of sorting line, the anti-vibration ability of design result was analyzed, the product of the cigarette shape and the good control of cigarette posture were verified.The designed high-speed sorting line has been put into production and prototype testing, 85000 cartons of cigarettes can be sorted by this cigarette sorting line, and it is needn’t to adjust the cigarette posture by manual. It is certified that the design result was conformed to the expectation, and applied to practical production.
