The needle roller bearing is a kind of widely used rolling bearing and the diameter of the needle roller has a direct influence on the life and dynamic performance of the bearing.Once the needle roller bearing needle group is uneven,it will lead to the uneven force of the needle roller bearing,thus stress will be concentrated on a needle or a few needles,reducing the life expectancy.In addition,the needle roller with uneven grouping can affect the dynamic precision of the ball bearing,such as the big beat,the large vibration and the abnormal sound.Therefore,the needle group is an essential process of needle roller bearings.In addition,China's needle roller centerless grinder is not equipped with the needle diameter online detector.Therefore,it is generally open loop control,and the measurement information can not be fed back to the grinder.At present,the speed of needle roller in our country is obviously lower than that of foreign countries,so it is difficult to adapt to the demand of high-speed growth of needle bearing,At the same time,the high speed needle roller grinding machine needs to be detected online.Therefore,the high-speed needle separation technology has become the urgent demand of the development of our country.The key technologies of the needle roller diameter and length high speed sorting include the high speed and uniform speed feeding of the needle roller,the measurement of the high speed needle,the fast extraction of the diameter and the length of the needle in the continuous signal and the high speed grouping of the needle roller.In this paper,by combining the feeding tray and the roller pump,the feeding way is adopted to realize the high speed and uniform speed feeding.Flexible hinge and compression is used to prevent the needle roller and to ensure the high-speed needle roller online dynamic detection.In the process of high speed continuous measurement,the diameter and length of the needle roller is obtain at the same time.The diameter and length of needle rollers were extracted by batch sampling and processing technology.Then,the continuous needle roller is sent into the high speed conveyor belt,and the speed of the conveyor belt is higher than that of the continuous needle roller,in order to realize the sorting of the needle roller.The mechanical part of the sorting system includes three parts: the needle conveying mechanism,the measuring mechanism and the high speed sorting mechanism.The needle conveying mechanism is used to complete the transportation of the needle roller by means of continuous feeding and conveyor speed is controlled by stepper motor.The measuring mechanism realizes the continuous dynamic measurement of the needle roller and ensures the accuracy of the measurement.High-speed sorting mechanism realizes the quick sorting of the needle roller at high speed.The measurement and control system includes hardware system and software system.The hardware of the control system is composed of a motor,a driver,PLC,proximity switches and a I/O interface circuit in order to accomplish motion control for the delivery and high speed sorting of needle roller.The measuring part includes industrial control computer,sensor,signal conditioning module and acquisition card and fulfill the measurement of the diameter and length of needle roller.The software system includes signal acquisition,data processing,motor control and packet sorting programAccording to the design scheme,the measurement precision and sorting speed of the separation system are verified by experiments.The measurement results demonstrate the measurement accuracy is within 1 um,and the sorting speed can reach 12m/min and this meet the performance requirements of the separation parameters.
