Electric power is the prerequisite of social development. With the continuously rapid development of social economy, power instability will bring huge economic losses to the society and a lot of inconvenience to national life. Improve power quality, it is an important topic in today’s society, also the urgent need of the people. Peak load of power grid by cutting and adjusted to grid power stability, make the power grid peak valley into balance. Along with the development of the society, spiritual civilization and the national environmental consciousness are also constantly improve。After the global organization put forward "the low carbon economy", China also explicitly put forward in the "125" the goal of energy conservation and emissions reduction, therefore how to select the appropriate load under the condition of economic and environmental protection has become a hot problem in the power grid. In this paper, Danjiangkou Dam Capacity expansion and research and analysis of the decision-making, specific content is as follows:Paper firstly introduces the concept of load and development situation of load of power grid at home and abroad, and according to the current power grid peak valley data, explains the urgency of peak shaving. The Danjiangkou Dam after heightening strong performance as a regulator station, its power peaking Capacity Enlargement to great effect. So this article details the hydropower station, power generation, nuclear power and new energy power generation in peak shaving of different operation modes and their impact on power grid peak shaving. And then, under the global low carbon economy and the energy-saving emission reduction policies in China, discuss in the operation process of the existing various types of power station of central China power grid, the different influence to the ecological environment.According to the situation of the central China power grid, article uses fuzzy mathematics method of hydropower, thermal power model of fuzzy comprehensive decision research. Through fuzzy treatment of start-stop time, output adjustment speed, output amplitude change, abandoned water load, power cost, environmental impact, establish the mathematical model, and by looking for information and expert assessment data, fuzzy analysis, comparison with the most suitable way of power grid peak shaving.According to the conclusion of fuzzy decision, and the specific situation of the central China power grid hydropower station, starting from the aspects such as economy, energy conservation and emissions reduction, puts forward plans to expand machine capacity of the power station. By expanding machine capacity increase its installed capacity, to participate in the central China power grid peak shaving. Dan River dam and Capacity expansion and feasibility analysis.
