Aero-space information system situation awareness has great influence on the gathering, transporting and managing of information in aero-space confrontations. Thus, it has clear significance to study into aero-space information system situation awareness. This thesis has node situation of aero-space as study object, and mainly focuses on situation analysis. The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1) Analyze and design an index system of aero-space node situations. Situations of aero-space nodes are complexly composed and have multiple source data types. Based on these features, this thesis designs a node situation index system particularly for aero-space information system. The situation index system is established using an object-oriented method. The elements of different levels in the index system can be more correctly specified using data fusion.(2) Analyze the criticality situation of nodes in aero-space system. Chapter 3 brings up the concept of similar orbit, and classifies the satellites based on the similarity of their orbits. Then, take satellites, earth stations, and the links between them in consideration to calculate the criticality of different nodes and analyze the situation of them. It also evaluates the possible impact on the aero-space system when critical nodes are destroyed or failed.(3) Calculate the available time window of a ground target. Ground target is threatened by multiple detectors simultaneously. Each detector has different detecting times, manners and abilities. By gathering various technical indexes of the detectors, chapter 4 establishes a mathematical model to evaluate their overall threat to the ground target, and then predict the time windows of the target. Based on the target situation, certain operations can be more properly arranged.On the basis of former research, this thesis designs and implements a prototype system. This system is connected to a piece of software called STK, and is used to analyze and demonstrate aero-space situation. The experiments indicate that the methods to analyze aero-space situation in this thesis have application value and can provide support and reference for aero-space-related operations.
