With the progress of society,all industriesdevelop in the high speed,andthe developmentof electronic technology industry is in more rapid speed,which has been the leader ofindustries.The development of society has caused great changes in the current world pattern,hidden forces and forces caused by it will bring many uncertainties to the current world.Under the leadership of reform and opening-up policy,C hina has achie ved remarkable achievements.We need powerful national defense power to protect the achievements,therefore,as a defense enterprise we have been committed to safeguarding the safety of the motherland.In this paper,in order to meet the advance of current technology,especially the progress of military technology,we have successfully developed a new kind of missile-gun combination anti-aircraft air defense system to protectour country,and the individual equipment in the system is very advanced and comple x,so the problem how tomake use of the various information in the systemand make full use of their advantages effectivelyis the focus of this paper.In this paper,the missile-gun combination air defense weapon system is based on the current research results at domesticand abroad through comprehensive consideration and demonstration,combined with the current technological development and social needs to develop.The system involves in multiple types of sensors and communication means,andtarget types,quantity and its command platform have reached a very high level.The sensors in the system not only have the microwave sensor but also the optical sensor,the communication means not only has the wired communication nor also has the wireless communication,the strikingfirepower includes air-defense gun and missiles,all of which have established strong technical basis for high combat effectiveness and battlefield survivability.The microwave sensor is composed of several radars in different systems and different bands,and the problem how to perform data fusionon the informationof multiple radars in the system effectively,and perform integrated processing,control and managementby the command vehicle,is an important research topic for the system integration.Therefore,this paper uses a research project(named by “A type of camp-class missile-gun combination air defense weapon system”)of an institute as an example todiscuss the data fusion technology of how to meet the requirements of system detection and guidance,as well as easy to accomplish.Firstly,current technological development at domesticand abroad function and composition of integrated gun/missile air defence weapon system as well as theoretical basis for multi-sensor data fusion processing is simply introduced;secondly,a data fusion processing design method suitable to this system is proposed on basis of operational use and technical specifications;and then frame design,type selection of platform and software design of data fusion is introduced emphatically;approaches like track fusion,situation assessment,threatening assessment used in data fusion processing are explained in detail.Finally,a great deal of simulated test and real air situation test are performed on the real accomplished data fusion processing approaches,the tested result verifies correctness of the stated theory and of project design implementation approaches.
