With global warming problem becoming increasingly serious, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Countries around the world are managing to establish and perfect the carbon trading market and the carbon financial system in order to realize the sustainable development of the economy. In 1997, All Parties of “the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change” signed the Kyoto Protocol to accelerate implementing convention and promote the greenhouse gases emission reduction process in Kyoto, Japan. CDM was developed to provide financial and energy-saving technologies, in collaboration with the completion of emission reduction projects in developing countries CDM. CDM is one transaction, by which obtain emission reduction credits generated by low-cost.The annual greenhouse gas emissions coming from buildings accounts for the total global emissions about 1/4, but few CDM projects of energy-saving building for emission reduction registered successfully in executive board. China is the country with largest potential for CDM emission reductions, as well as the Developing country with greatest demand for building construction. In summary, to develop CDM projects of energy efficiency building means a lot to the energy-saving work in China.The paper analyzed the characteristics of the carbon in the construction field and the status quo, an analysis is made of the advantages of the CDM, the use of CDM in the field of construction, development status and its limitations, preliminary study the BIM application in the field of building carbon emissions analysis; Comparative analysis the BIM and other major building carbon emissions measurement and analysis tools, points out that the standardization of BIM in construction carbon measuring accuracy and has a certain advantage, to some extent can effectively break through the implementation of CDM projects in the field of building the limitations of hard carbon emissions in the process of audit; On this basis, the paper according to the CDM project application process, preliminary build a construction project based on BIM CDM carbon trading mechanism, based on the construction project whole life period, analyzes the construction projects in stages of carbon source, carbon features, the key points of the CDM application and BIM to the promoting function of CDM project application; The paper is based on the analysis of real cases both at home and abroad, demonstrates the feasibility of the implementation of construction projects CDM trading mechanism and construction projects with BIM carbon emissions is calculated and the feasibility of low carbon management; For the building construction project based on BIM in the CDM carbon trading mechanism in the limitations existing in the implementation process, the paper puts forward the related countermeasure and the suggestion.
