Vortex type machinery is a displacement of the rapid development of the machinery, which draw much attention in recent years. It has characteristics of working smoothly, high efficiency, consuming little energy, low noise, light weight, small size and compact structure. At the same time it has the advantage of rotary and volumetric machinery, so it has received the extensive attention of scholars both at home and abroad. Now the vortex theory is mainly used in the development of scroll compressor, the medium of compressor is air, which is mainly used in the field of refrigeration, vortex pump research is still in its infancy.This article chooses square involute as the research object, according to the different work requirements between vortex pump and vortex compressor, realized the simulation of vortex type line of hydraulic pump design, fluid numerical simulation analysis, virtual modeling, driving system consists of equilibrium analysis and improvement.The work of this paper includes the following content:1) Established the square type vortex involute teeth inside and the outside of the line equation, according to the work needs that hydraulic pump medium can not be compressed, improved the type of line equation, which could not produce compression chamber in the meshing process. the accuracy of design calculation was verified by using the Matlab software graphics processing capabilities, at the same time calculated the displacement of the vortex pump.2) Vortex flow model of the hydraulic pump was established in the Gambit software, then set up a reasonable network in the model. Test spindle speed’s impact on the working performance of the vortex pump using Fluent software’s dynamic network technology. According to the pressure and flow rate changes, served the reference for the selection of spindle speed.3) Three-dimensional model of the key components was established and virtually assembled. Ensure that the model was correct by checking assembly model of interference. Besides, analyzed the force and movement of various key parts.4) By using virtual prototype technology, The vortex pump prototype model was tested. The test results show that the spindle movement in the process of centrifugal force is too large, through the counterweight design solve the problem of the balance of the drive system, the reliability of the design had been proved in the Adams software.
