The hydraulic transmission technology is widely used in the industrial and agricultural production,especially in some special fields,such as the field of the exoskeleton robot in the upper limb.As the power source of the hydraulic system,the performance of the hydraulic pump has a great in fluence on the hydraulic system.Miniature internal involute gear pump has the advantages of small structure,stable pressure,small flow,long life,and easy to realize integration.in-depth study of it can fill the market demand and make up the blank of hydraulic components in the medical equipment hydraulic system.At present,the products of internal involute gear pump with superior performance and small structure size are basically monopolized by foreign enterprises.The successful development of the pump can not only meet the needs of the market,but also reduce the market price of this kind of product.This paper first analyzes the working principle and motion process of the miniature internal involute gear pump,and carries out the structural design f or it,aiming at the design calculation and check of the gear pair transmission.Design and optimize the gear shaft,annular gear,floating side plate,shell and swing link as the main parts.The research also involved the displacement,flow and geometric parameters,strength and so on.Secondly,a finite element model(FEM)of the pump has been built by ANSYS Workbench to analyze the stresses and strains of the parts in different static loads in order to satisfy the allowable strength.Thirdly,the 3D fluid-structure interaction model of the pump has been modeled by ANSYS ICE CFD and ANSYS FLUENT solvers to simulate the fluid distribution.The influence of different pressure difference and different speed on leakage flow under certain conditions is analyze d,and the influence of gear parameters on flow pulsation is analyzed.Finally,after solving the difficulties of manufacturing,the prototype is created.The experimental results shows the good performance of the pump,such as noise,displacement and efficiency,which meet the design requirements.After the experiment,dismantle the prototype.The wear of components is normal.
