Subway drives along the rapid development of the construction of supporting the property in the last ten years, while the number of rail infrastructure and the corresponding also increased dramatically. According to the requirements of each subway construction, subway line requires at least one depot base as rail transportation daily operations logistics center. Each depot covers 15 hectares to 40 hectares, which caused a huge pressure on scarce land resources in the city. How to efficiently use the depot has paied more and more attention by all circles of the society. In recent years, various cities actively use the Metro Depot and the surrounding land to make integration planning and design in the premise for development of urban rail transit construction. Metro Depot cover property development is an important way to establish the intensive energy saving city, and it is the future develop trend of cities.Paper start with the function and characteristics of depot itself, define the research scope of estate planning and design of the property above the depot. And the article discusses the limit conditions of planning and design from the aspects of the development process, the planning design and technical requirements of the project. On this basis, through the investigation and Analysis on the practice of domestic and foreign cases, proposed the present depot superstructure has three key problems-- functional composite degree is not high, the low degree of traffic resource integration and shaping the space. and then studied on these problems according to reference theories.The core of the thesis is based on the three key problems, respectively on the three aspects of in-depth case analysis and summary.
