Abstract/Summary:
The target characteristic capture system, which is a critical component of the precision guided munition, plays a vital role in technical indexes and performance of the precision guided munition. As an important part of the target characteristic capture system, the flight scene simulation test can effectively reduce the costs of development and the risks of tests, and shorten the development cycle as well. To fulfill the requirements of the scene generation with high frame frequency and high resolution for the flight scene simulation in the target characteristic capture system, and to face the challenges of the high transmission rate of data and the real-time performance of image displaying, this thesis aims to develop a high-throughput dynamic scene generation system.Firstly, on the basis of investigation and survey of the correlation techniques in the flight scene simulation test of the target characteristic capture system, this thesis analyzes the requirements of technical index, and provides a design of the highthroughput image injection module by the use of flexibility software and highperformance of hardware. That is to simulate and generate dynamic flight scene images with high frame frequency and high resolution on the basis of a computer scene generation software, and to develop a image injection module which transmits and processes scene images based on FPGA.Secondly, a computer scene generation software simulating target and background distribution characteristic is developed to meet the requirements of the flight scene simulation on the scene generation with high frame frequency and high resolution in the target characteristic capture system. The generation and display of dynamic scene image have been achieved by the use of Open CV. Besides, multithreading programming technique is adopted to improve the efficiency of scene generation and the real-time performance of image displaying.Thirdly, a design of the high-throughput image injection module is provided to meet the challenges of the real-time performance of image displaying and the high transmission rate of data of the flight scene simulation in the target characteristic capture system. The FPGA is adopted to make control unit, which controls USB 3.0 and LVDS bus to transmit image. Furthermore, the requirement of the flight scene simulation on the high resolution test have been met by gray-filling images based on FPGA, the continuity of image data transmission has been ensured by the use of double buffer ping-pong mode, and the transmission rate of data has been improved by DMA.Finally, loopback test is provided to verfy the high-throughput dynamic scene generation system without the information processor which is docking to that system. On the basis of the debugging test, the experimental results show the high-throughput dynamic scene generation system stably and reliably meets the functional and precision requirments of flight scene simulation test in the target characteristic capture system.The high-throughput dynamic scene generation system, which plays a key role in the target characteristic capture system test, lays the foundation for the flight scene simulation test of the precision guided munition.
