Constructing Of Flight Simulation System Frame Based On HLA

Flight simulation system plays an important role in aircraft design, performance analysis and training of pilot. High level architecture (HLA), which is a new architecture for distributed simulation, has a wide application in military simulation. Based on the study status at present, the dissertation determines the flight simulation system combined with HLA and simulation methods as the emphasis.Firstly, in this paper, we introduce the frame of flight simulation system based on HLA. Then we also discuss the development process of application system in accordance with criterion of HLA. Finally, depending on a given background, we analyze a development process and way of flight simulation system based on HLA.Achieving the design of a flight dynamics simulation system frame based on Vega, and according obtained many basal parameter indexes, a corresponding simple model can be established. In the dynamics simulation system frame, the plane's flight controls have two modes: hand-control and network-control. In hand-control, many basal actions of flight are emphasized ,such as plane's level flight, diving, climbing and swerving. In network-control, moreover, using the dynamics models, server can control plane's flight by sending parameters.By using modeling tool (Creator) and scene driving tool (Vega), the three-dimensional scene emulator is implemented. The emulator mainly has three parts: modeling of virtual scene model, a general configuration about virtual scene by using Lynx, and real-time driving about virtual scene. Among them, the first one includes terrain modeling, flyer modeling, instrument modeling and so on. The second one includes system configuration, object upload, scene enactment, observer and channel established, surrounding enactment etc. The last one includes some different scenesswitching of plane and missile.The prototype system indicates that the system frame can serve as the effective tool for designing flight simulation system by integrating more exact dynamics models.
