As a new form of pile foundation, squeezed branch disk pile made a breakthrough in traditional pile type. With a high bearing capacity, a small settlement, a strong applicability and good economics, it has great advantages over normal pile foundation. Applied for more than 20 years, it has achieved good economic benefits and hundreds of engineering projects adopted this kind of pile type.When people benefits from its compressive property, they usually ignore the uplift performance. As the exist of the branch and disk, the pile gains good build-in property, other pile foundations can’t compete its uplift ability. Although some local standards gives the formula of squeezed branch disk pile’s uplift capacity, they have more or less defects. Now there is lots of studies on the compressive property of squeezed branch disk pile, but study on its uplift ability is not much. What’s more, the selection of construction parameters of squeezed branch disk pile with uplift load needed to be decided. So it’s necessary to make a study on its uplift property.The dissertation started with the uplift failure mode of the pile with constant section and the pedestal pile, combined with other scholars’ analysis on it, introduced some local standards’ formulas of squeezed branch disk pile, showed the advantages and disadvantages of them. On the basis of this, according to the results of abaqus’ s analysis, the dissertation gives the failure curve of the uplift squeezed branch disk pile, improves the accuracy through adjusting the parameters. Then I get the formula of uplift squeezed branch disk pile, compare the simulation results and the calculation results, and examine it by applied in a engineering project. In the same time, the dissertation gives simulations about single pile and pile group, then give suggestions about the construction parameters’ selection. For single pile, it analyzes the disk’s diameter, distance, number, the parameters’ influences to the performance of the uplift squeezed branch disk pile. For pile group, it analyzes the pile’s distance, number, diameter, the parameters influences to the performance of it. In the same time, we compare its bearing capacity to the pile with constant section and make a conclusion. Then apply the formula in single pile to pile group and tell if it’s proper.
