With the rapid development of the national economy, the power grid is constructed quickly and this resulting in larger and larger power system. Then the power system is under increasing threat. Thus, black start becomes more and more important as the final guarantee of power system. In recent years, distributed energy supply systems get the support of government because of its high efficiency, energy saving and less pollution. At the same time, gas turbine based distributed energy supply systems have excellent start and adjust performance, which make it suitable as black start power units.Therefore, this paper introduces gas turbine based distributed energy supply systems into power systems as black start units. An optimized planning model for distributed energy supply systems considering its black-start function is proposed, and it provides positive guidance for the planning and construction of distributed energy supply systems.Firstly, the feasibility of gas turbine based distributed energy supply system acting as a black start power unit is studied. Large number of simulation on line over-voltage, transformer inrush current and other issues which may occurs in the process of black start were run by modeling in PSCAD. Based on the simulation result, solutions are proposed and verified.Then, based on node connectivity and load, the importance evaluation method of nodes is proposed. And the line charging capacitance is used to measure the risk of line recovery. The optimization method of black start path is proposed, making maximum average importance of node and minimum risk of line recovery as objective, using path deep search algorithm to find best black start path.Furthermore, this paper analyzes the features of distributed power supply systems acting as black start units, and the evaluation need to be considered in traditional black start plan. Then Evaluation Index system for black start plan is built which with integrated distributed energy supply systems as black start units. Black start plan evaluation method is proposed using the analytic hierarchy process method to calculate criteria weights and the data envelopment analysis method to calculate the index property values.Finally, this paper proposes optimal planning method for distributed integrated energy supply systems which considering its black start function. The method take power outage time, power loss, black start costs into account. And the Particle Swarm Optimization base integer programming is adopted in the method. The proposed method is used to calculate for IEEE-RTS 79 system.
