Study On The Inheritance And Development Of Traditional Culture From The Transformation Of Historic District In Taigu Ancient City

With the rapid development of the society, there are high-rise buildings all around the city. Many people overlooked the protection of the ancient city, which has caused many contradictions between modern construction and protection. Thus, the reconstruction of the ancient buildings and the historical district has attracted much attention from society.This paper takes Taigu ancient city in Shanxi as the research object, based on the survey of the main culture axis at the north of Gulou building in Taigu and other typical cases such as Pingyao, Shanxi, Jinli street, Chengdu, through the research on the related concepts, combines the relationship between the historical block as well as the concept of traditional culture, summarizes the traditional cultural characteristics and customs in Taigu ancient city, and sums up the design principle of the historic district.Finally, through the reconstruction of the historical district in Taigu ancient city, from the comprehensive analysis of the macro and micro perspective, this paper tries to put forward the planning method of protecting the traditional culture and regional characteristics in the historical street, as well as to coordinate with modern city development problems, and to find the harmonious coexistence between the traditional culture and the rapid change of the city.
