The Research On Evaluation And Prevention Strategy Of Light Pollution Of Main Xi’an City

Since the reform and opening up of China, there is a rapid development of Chinese cities, urban people’s living standards to improve the process of urbanization has intensified, the people of the city’s nightlife and entertainment also made more demands. However, with urbanization comes the troubled---- light pollution caused by urban lighting. Especially for the first-tier cities, in the past decade, the public complaints about night light pollution become more and more serious.By summarizing the research status and the causes of light pollution of recent years at home and abroad, combined with research observations of the night light pollution in Xi’an, this article shows the distribution of the night sky pollution. In addition, based on night lighting status quo of the main city of Xi’an, by researching and testing the road lighting, commercial lighting, architectural lighting and landscape lighting of the main area of Xi’an, finding out the basic nighttime light pollution situation of Xi’an. The pollution of Xi’an urban district is in the micro-state, half of the region in light pollution, even highly contaminated in central region. The article analyzes the causes of general illumination light pollution in Xi’an, including lighting brightness unreasonable, improper illumination, light color improper selection, as well as city building urban surface and surface reflection characteristics, etc. Finally, based on the following aspects: the rational use of forms of lighting, the way of lighting and so on,initially proposing some relatively feasible control methods and strategies.
