| In the present world that energy is increasingly consumed, the proportion of construction industry in total energy consumption is not negligible any more increasingly. Severe environmental problems caused by energy consumption. Energy saving is heading in a direction of reducing environmental consumption, with a focus on high performance and low energy cost during the entire construction lifecycle. Since green building initiatives started relatively late in China, doing research on such important subjects as green building construction and particularly green transformation of existing buildings becomes an urgent need. A large portion of China is composed of cold areas, and both winter heating burn off lots of energy. High energy cost issue is common for our existing buildings that were constructed in the 80’s and 90’s. In this paper, we discuss about transformation plan in the following four sections.First, this section explains why green transformation is a necessary and urgent task from the perspectives of energy crisis, current situation of energy consumption in cold areas, indoor environment comfortability, etc. It explores energy efficiency potential of the transformation through a study on domestic and foreign advanced technologies and rich experience.Second, this section establishes theoretical groundwork for transformation strategies by comparatively analyzing building wall, roof, window, stairwell and vertical space development and utilization, and discusses about the prospect of building integration with solar energy and its application in China. Strive to increase revenue and reduce expenditure.Third, a thermal engineering analysis on such energy-consuming building parts as exterior wall, roof, door and window is thoroughly carried out using selected methodology. Moreover, some improvement recommendations are presented in regards to structural design deficiencies. At last, De ST-h provides a quantitative analysis for transformation plan that is proposed in Chapter 4. Urban renewal of the old residential areas at Funing County(Qinhuangdao, Hebei) is chosen as the rebuilding model. The energy efficiency effect of green transformation is proved in two ways: One adopts national standard calculation methodology for energy conservation, and the other does simulations with computer software. Feasibility of the plan is verified through a comparison of energy consumption indicator before and after the transformation, and the-plan-related optimization ideas are suggested.Theoretical results from this paper are of great significance to the feasibility of green transforming existing building in cold areas. It provides reference for refining the theories of green transforming existing building in cold areas, and drives the green building industry forward in China. |
