Interchange is the national trunk road network,especially an integral part of the highway. Conversion between them as the highway traffic flow of important node,for guarantees safe,rapid and safe operation of the vehicle. Interchange layout planning is the main content of highway network planning,the reasonable layout of the highway interchange road network function and characteristics of play has an important meaning,can guarantee continuous traffic flow,optimization of regional productivity layout,and promote reasonable use a space. General layout is reasonable,the interchange scheme is workable relations to the future social and economic benefits,especially in the mountainous area highway design process,due to the limited topography,such as improper setting will increase engineering scale,resulting in waste.This paper combined with the characteristics of interchange,and expounds the interchange should be followed in the planning,selection and setting of the main factors of attention on the general principle and positioning; Then according to the general design of grade separation principles,technical standards and design methods,start from the analysis of traffic flow,considering the actual topography,geology,interchange type selection,layout principles in mountainous area,and elaborates the key points of design in engineering applications; At the same time according to the characteristics of the mountainous terrain,landform,etc,this paper discusses the mountainous area of interchange ramp flat line,the profile line and ramp ends and variable speed drive design principle,technical index and design method of some problems that should be paid attention to,and the easily neglected problems in the design of interchange in mountainous area are proposed.Through three interchanges scheme comparison,comprehensive consideration,reco m-mend using single horn interchanges. According to the general design of grade se paration principles,technical standards and design method of adversary ditch horizont al alignment design of interchanges,longitudinal plane linear design result and the de sign of variable speed drive value from three aspects of content are analyzed; Butt groove main quantity calculation of grade separation,and for the whole project and t he economic and technical evaluation.
