Wuhan Green Transportation And Green Road Construction Fusion Model

With the rapidly expand of urban scale, inhabitant trips modal has transformed. The way to travel has becoming more and more various and convenient. However, traffic jam and environmental pollution, causing by the rapid development of traffic system, are getting worse. For building eco-Wuhan living city, it is necessary to developing green transportation, relieving traffic congestion and reducing the negative impacts causing by traffic. Meanwhile, it is also important to construct the urban green space system including greenways and to improve and beautify the environment. Therefore, both green transport and construction of the urban green space system are important measures for improving city environment. They complement each other. If suitable treatment is conducted to the relationship between them, it will have multiplier effect on the improvement of city environment.Currently, factors containing green transport and greenways play important role in the city development of Wuhan. This paper have a research on integration of the two factors basing on their numerous similar characteristics. The main work and achievements are as below:(1)The necessity of the integration of the two factors was analyzed from three aspects including the land resource, living environment and traffic transfer system of Wuhan.(2)Basing on the analysis of the present integration of the two factors, five kind of integration modal, involving walking greenway, bicycle greenway, bike and walking public greenway, regular bus greenway, integrated transportation greenway, was constructed.(3)The combination of the greenway planning information, road and rail transit planning network diagram of Wuhan produced the result of Wuhan greenway transfer network diagram. This combination also promoted the traffic function of greenway by improving the current microcirculation transit planning. The design of slow traffic greenway was categorized from greenway isolation form. Made three design patterns for integrated transport greenway in the order of regular bus greenway, bicycle greenway and pedestrian greenway. On this base, the special design modal of the ground subsidence of bus greenway has been put forward creatively.(4)The long-term development goals and security system of the implementation of the planning modal has been put forward in five aspects including legal protection, financial, land, business and agency securities. Moreover, the efficient mechanism for public participation was established.
