As the quality of life and health in modern society have drawn the attention of the people more and more high, the pharmaceutical industry get rapid development, and gradually become an important part of modern economy. The pharmaceutical industry has the characteristics of high quality requirements, technical updates faster, so in the course of pharmaceutical engineering construction projects, not only to strictly control the quality, at the same time also want to pay attention to the project schedule management, so that after the project put into production can make the best investment benefit. Pharmaceutical engineering project in design are often faced with many professional characteristics and the design cycle is long. Engineering design is the premise and basis of pharmaceutical project, so the design process is always the core part of pharmaceutical engineering project management, is also the focus of the schedule control.Based on the company S L group as the research background, firstly points out that L in the current design work of the project progress and problems. Based on the analysis of the traditional PERT/CPM program management approach, on the basis of current application critical chain technology is put forward the necessity of schedule management. Then, in the analysis and summary of the key chain, on the basis of relevant theories, according to the actual situation of L project, with the help of the heuristic algorithm, the recognition of the critical chain, which in turn is based on the elastic coefficient of PERT method to calculate the size of the buffer. In the end, based on the critical chain technology developed on the basis of a full set of continuous improvement plan, schedule management in the implementation process, by setting the buffer monitoring parameters reflect the process of buffer time consumption situation, and take the corresponding adjustment measures to control the schedule. Application results show that the schedule management model based on critical chain technology can get more than based on traditional PERT/CPM plan summary management methods in the construction period shortened 28 days, at the same time meet the project schedule control target, cost control and quality of design. Research conclusion of this paper can give pharmaceutical engineering projects or new product development project schedule management provide certain reference value.
