In this thesis, the development and current situation of optical auto-collimator have been investigated, a high speed dynamic optical auto-collimator comprised of light source, collimator, PSD, the hardware and software of the processing system has been designed.The data acquisition and processing technology of high speed dynamic optical auto-collimator based on the two-dimensional position sensor PSD and micro-controller unit has been studied. The PSD is used as photoelectric receiving device to convert the optical signal to the electrical signal, combining with the acquisition circuit, processing circuit, and MCU system, to increase the speed of data transmission and data processing, and to obtain the accurate measurement data.The circuit of data acquisition and processing based on the position sensor of Hamamatsu Photonics S5991-01 two-dimensional PSD has been designed. The nonlinear correction of the measurement data has been done by using the optimization algorithm to improve the accuracy of PSD measurement. The designed dynamic auto-collimator achieves the purpose and meets the requirement of designing target.
