As the most important essential infrastructure of the large-scale building, the central air-conditioning energy consumption accounts for around 50 percent of the building consumption. So it is a question how to improve the efficiency and reduce energy consumption in the current power supply tension condition. In this paper, traditional control strategy and control method for the central air-conditioning were transformed to realize the accurate monitoring data and achieve the purpose of reducing energy consumption of central air conditioning system.At first, the Operation situation and existing problems of the traditional central air-conditioning system were analyzed, meanwhile the composition and working principle of the central air-conditioning system were introduced in the paper. Secondly, the central air-conditioning temperature controller based on fuzzy PID was designed and the simulation results were analyzed at the same time. Thirdly, the Total design scheme of the central air-conditioning system was proposed according to the shortage of the existing system. Some functions such as main technological process control, frequency converting control, wind ark state control and energy consumption data analysis were introduced. At last, the energy-saving performance was analyzed according the energy consumption data comparison results in recent years.System actual operating results showed that the proposed central air-condition temperature control system, which take advantage of fuzzy control theory, frequency converting controller and PLC, can achieve the demand of the energy consumption reduction.
