With the development of the society and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, the smart electronic products are fast gaining popularity. People need to face different kinds of charger and charging line of their smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, etc. Messy lines and frequent operation of plugging and pulling out degrade the charging experience. The development of wireless charging technology makes people get rid of the trouble of charging. People no longer need cables when charging electronic products. Wireless charging products will play an important role on many occasions in the future. User demand research is a key factor in the modern product design. From the current situation of related research, there are some shortages in cutting-edge technology application based on user demands in product design. It’s very worth studying how to obtain the requirements of the product’s properties in product design through the analysis and transformation of user demand. From the present situation of wireless charging technology application, there are only a few wireless charging products in the market, so it’s very valuable to do wireless charging product design study through the research and analysis of the relationship between user demand and new technology.The first chapter is an introduction that analyzed the domestic and foreign research situation of user demand and as well as the development and application of wireless charging technology, summed up the shortcomings of the related study and explained the purpose and significance of this study. The second chapter discussed the value of wireless charging technology application in product design, determined the research object in this paper and defined the wireless charging terminal products, by the analysis of the different principle of wireless charging technology, research of existing wireless charging products and comparison of the wired and wireless charging products. The third chapter studied the connotation and classification of the user demands and product attributes, analyzed the relationship between user demands and product attributes, and came up with the product design process, from user demands to product attributes. The fourth and fifth chapter expounded the transformation method to make user demands into product attributes and studied the explicit demands and implicit demands of the wireless charging terminal products through the relevant methods. In the last part of this paper, a wireless charging desk lamp was designed based on user demands. And finally a product prototype was made to inquire the user evaluations.
