Research On Security Detection And Warning System Of Ship Of Three Gorges Ship Lift

Efficient and safe operation of ship lift of the Three Gorges depend on the establish and perfect of safety detection technology in Three Gorges ship lift. There is not a safety ship detection technology of ship lift applied in China and abroad. Developing a set of ship safety detection and warning system of Three Gorges ship lift, to detect draft, speed and location of the ship passing through the ship-lift quickly and remotely, according to early warning strategies, determine whether the ship is illegal, early warning of illegal vessels, and save the illegal information; and it is of great significance to ensure the safety of facilities and equipment of the ship lift and ships running through the machine and to avoid navigation accidents.In this paper, firstly, the overall scheme of the ship security detection and warning system of Three Gorges ship lift are discussed, using special window and dynamic mapping design to built control and monitoring center software, collecting vessel data through the network from each subsystem, and the establishment of ship information database based on SQL Server 2008, using ADO interface to connect to the database and software.Secondly, combining ship lift site environment, research and development of L-upward type ship draft detection subsystem which adapted to upstream, and analyzes the measuring principle and composition of subsystem; using side-scan type ship’s draft detection technology to detect the ship’s draft of ship lift downstream, developing a set of side-scan type ship draft detection subsystem, and testing in the laboratory and GeZhou Hub, the detection accuracy of the system to meet the requirements.Last but not least, using LFMCW radar to achieve simultaneous detection of vessel speed and distance, combined with ship lift operating state, cooperating with each other on the upstream and downstream side of the two speed range finder, complete real-time detection of the ship’s speed and distance cross the ship lift, and at the scene of the initial test, meeting the requirements of the initial project basically. Using laser scanning technology to scan forbidden parking line continuously and automatically, complete gathering data which the section of forbidden parking line in real time, combined with ship lift operating state, to detect cross-border of ship through the ship lift.In this paper, the results of laboratory and field tests of a part of the system was given, achieved the expected results initially, achieved the safety detection of ship through Three Gorges ship lift, and combined with early warning strategy to warn the illegal ship. The technical feasibility of the system is verified, laid the foundation for the subsequent phases of the project.
