With the rapid development of urbanization, the urban transport system plays an important role in promoting the economic development of city healthily, and ensuring the regular operation of its various functions. However, with the continued increase in the number of private cars, traffic jams happened in the big cities frequently when it comes to rush hour or central part. It affects people’s normal production and life seriously. Therefore, how to improve the congestion of city traffic has become one of the urban problems to be solved urgently.The main topic is designed for solving the current public transport system(taxi system and bus system) problems. It aims at improving transportation and promoting the development of "harmonious traffic", so that it can be helpful in supporting the sustainable development strategy of city. The paper hopes to solve the waste of traffic resources caused by current problems of urban public transport system, such as passengers can not get right real-time information about bus or taxi, and the mis-communication between passengers and taxi drivers.This system consists of mobile client, service-terminal and automotive intelligent terminal. Mobile client mainly includes the Android system and iOS system development of mobile applications, Android system uses Jdk, Eclipse, Android SDK and other development tools, language Java, development tools, XML, ISO systems include Xcode 4.5, iOS SDK 6.0, the programming language Objective-C. Server database using a relational database MySql, production environment for Windows, PHP interpreter, Apache server software. Storing information data query, insert, and delete SQL statements. Car Intelligent Terminal with ARM11 as control core S3C6410 chip, a new generation gts-4e series GPS module. The intelligent terminal has the characteristics of high performance, high integration and high availability. The entire device, including 3G Internet access module, power modules, GPS positioning module, memory module, LCD display module, ARM core board, and equipped with a specially developed software. Meanwhile this paper also subsystems route guidance system shortest path algorithm design and implementation, the core idea of this algorithm Dijkstra shortest path algorithm and application characteristics and practical difficulties for the road network on the Dijkstra algorithm optimization, solutions for the actual road network to build the model, using the storage adjacency list to replace the storage adjacency matrix, reduce the time complexity and space complexity, complex weighting method to optimize weight, and proposed assigning weights to the nodes the value of the program, so that the algorithm is more accurate, the final design more in line with actual shortest path algorithm of road network features.Practice shows that this system is stable and reliable, realized the intended functions basically, and with good social benefits and promotional values.
