This study, based on virtua 1 prototype technology, analyzes kinematic capability and mechanical propert ies of the variable type st eel mould trolley. mainly in the following several aspects.Firstly, This study introduces structure and working principle of the variable steel mould trolley, then through thePro/E software to establish the virtual assem bly model, that provided basis for the sub-sequent kine matic capability and mechanic al properties.Secondly, a operation specification was made based on the practice, kine matics si-mulation based on Pro/E verified the opera tion procedures, and dyna mic simulation ba-sed on ADAMS showed driving force of the st eel mould trolley need, it provide re-li able reference for the choice of power supplyThirdly, This study, based on the variable steel mould trolley frame system statics analysis, proved that steel mould trolley can satisfy the working re quirements.
