GSM Intelligent Microcontroller-based Home Monitoring System Design

Building home users must use a lot of gas equipment and various appliances. These will give our lives to bring a variety of dangerous situations of uncertainty, for the safety of our property and bring unknown dangers. Smart home security system consists of the following components, namely security dialogue system, anti-thief alarm systems and gas poisoning alarm systems, security systems that make our house a full environmental safety factor has been an unprecedented increase in the future inevitable will be an integral part of our social safety order. Of course, we want to use smart appliances and electrical appliances like the use of general, as it is necessary to make intelligent home appliances control manipulation in humane and more convenient.The current GSM network technology is very mature, our mobile phone users is a big country, in 2008, China’s mobile phone users has reached 840 million. And GSM network signal coverage as well as China’s mobile phone tariff is not very high. All I thought about using the GSM technology to residential security alarm system, so I designed a GSM SMS service with the carrier as a smart home security systems.The design of the system central control unit using AT89S52 microcontroller, and then by the GSM communication unit, sensor collection unit, LED output unit, the alarm units. If an emergency occurs in residential, sensing devices inside the house can be sensed quickly, then immediately sends the information to the microcontroller, then the alarm unit will sound an alarm, LED output unit will display detailed alarm information the microcontroller receives information and then after treatment, then the information through the GSM network to send to our mobile phones, to ensure that we can quickly make the appropriate countermeasures. This system safety factor, and easy to install, safer and more reliable than previous traditional home security systems.
