Bulldozers are always working in bad conditions, especially the bulldozer working device as the main load support component. So it is necessary for the improvement and design to do the stress analysis on the bulldozer working device.Combining the bulldozer project, this paper modeled by Pro/E software on the bulldozer working device firstly. As the structure of bulldozer working device is complicate, it is difficult to do finite element analysis on the structure directly. This paper simplified the model of bulldozer working device and then do the stress and strain analysis on the simplified model by ANASYS software. In this paper, imc software was used to measure the actually strain of the bulldozer working device and compared the test results with the analysis results. It indicates that the method this paper used is feasible and provides a reference to simplify the other engineering machinery model at the same time. At last, according to the analysis results and practical situation, this paper improved the push beam structure of the bulldozer working device and then did the finite element analysis on the improved structure. The analysis results of the improved structure are better than the results before which indicates that the improved method this paper used is feasible.It is important to improve the bulldozer working device’s strength and reliability by the improved method of the paper. What’s more, it provided a theoretical basis and reference to the bulldozer working device’s design.
