To meet the moisture difficulty and reduce the damage when the fibre drum is circulati ng and transporting in the enterprise.This paper mainly deals with the research and develop ment about the damp-proof coating system inside the drum wall. At first, this paper gives e xperimental contrast analysis of moisture proof agent which are in markets, determines the moisture agent spraying parameters for the follow-up work. On the basis of analysis of the moisture-proof coating machine it uses graph topology theory to do the modular analysis of the machine, makes the machine of structure design by each module, models and simulates it and finally verifies the design combined with the physical experiment. The main contents of the thesis are the following:Through market researching and data querying, the paper elected suitable moisture agent for fiber drum. Based on the existing test standards and specific requirements, developed a reasonable test standard. Finally, we selected the most suitable moisture agent for fiber drum spraying via comprehensive analysis, and then determined drum spraying parameters of the optimum moisture agent.The fiber drum spraying machinery is divided into two parts:the mechanical system and control system through Design analysis and functional analysis of fiber drum spraying machinery. We had done special analysis of mechanical systems to meet design requirements of four functions of spraying-gun support, spraying-gun walking, the fiber drum rotation and support mechanism, and then put forward the design idea of the four mechanism module realizing fiber drum spraying machinery.Virtual prototype modeling of the fiber drum spraying machinery was created by using solidworks software. Motion simulation and local finite element simulation analysis of the mechanism were simulated by the internal plug agencies of solidworks software. Finally, physical prototypes and the experiments were compared to verify the correctness of the design of the mechanism.Through theoretical analysis, we determined the control system of the fiber drum spraying machinery using PLC as the core control. The whole control system is divided into three parts:the input system, the output system, and the core control system. We can gradually improve control function of the machine according to our needs. We had introduced a touch screen as a window to input and change parameters, which enhanced the flexibility of the control system, and provided the machinery a basis for upgrade.Finally, we had produced physical prototype of the fiber drum spraying machinery according to the preliminary theoretical analysis and virtual prototype design, and then did performance testing of the physical prototype. We improved the performance of the prototype and the overall mechanical performance combined with pre-simulation analysis, so that it could reach the actual production required level.
