After the comprehensive analysis of the research status of the patent retrieval method, the patent knowledge push method and the product innovation design method based on patent knowledge, aiming at the shortcomings of the current patent retrieval method and the low efficiency in finding the relevant knowledge in the process of product design, patent retrieval method based on similarity calculation and push method based on knowledge in the patent were proposed and patent knowledge aided product innovation design system prototype was developed on the basis of previous researchThe article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter illustrates the research background and significance of the topic and mainly introduces the domestic and foreign research status about patent retrieval method, knowledge push method and patent knowledge aided product innovation design to determine the research approach and the main research content. In view of the deficiency of the current patent retrieval methods, including keywords retrieval and IPC retrieval, the second chapter proposes patent retrieval method based on similarity calculation, which uses the product description or the target patent to retrieve the patent. We analyze the retrieval on a target patent in detail and the quadratic search based on the keywords retrieval can effectively help users to improve the retrieval efficiency in the process of product design. Then the strategies of the combined words extraction and the addition of position weight are put forward. Finally, take the patent retrieval in US patents as an example. It shows that the accuracy of the retrieval can be improved effectively and it can be used in innovative design based on the patent. In the third chapter, the push method based on patent knowledge is studied. Product design activities subject and patent knowledge push objects are confirmed using user model and the design requirement model is established by the design requirements proposed by the user matching to the knowledge model built by the patent knowledge extracted from the patent. Screen out the most appropriate knowledge and push to the user in the right way to achieve the change from the "people looking for knowledge" to "knowledge finding someone" and reduce the time cost in finding the relevant knowledge. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of this innovative design process is verified by an example of the innovative design of the automatic screw assembly mechanism. Based on the aforementioned theory, the fourth chapter describes the development and implementation of the computer aided product innovation design system based on patent knowledge composed of the user management module, patent retrieval module, patent knowledge extraction module, patent knowledge push module and knowledge database management module. Based on the innovative design of the automatic screw assembly mechanism, the operating interface and approach of the function modules of the system are illustrated, and the effectiveness of the system is primarily verified. As a result, with the assistance of the system the national invention patent is generated. The fifth chapter summarizes the work of the full text and points out the following work in the future.
