In recent years, the rapid development of China’s UHV transmission technology, in the international advanced level, but the user’s average power outage time is far more than developed countries, the analysis,90% above the user power outage is caused by the distribution network fault, improve the level of intelligent distribution network, improve the reliability of distribution network, is one of the important work of the power industry.Self healing is the most important feature of smart distribution network, and it is a sign of its completion. Self healing control mainly includes self prevention and self recovery function. This paper focuses on the research of fault self healing ability of the distribution network, and the fault location of the fault, shorten the time of fault and power outage, and reduce the intelligence of the distribution network.Firstly, the concept and function of self healing control of distribution network are described in this paper. This paper introduces several key technologies of terminal acquisition, communication and fault diagnosis, and presents a detailed description of the function of the terminal, and proposes the design method of self healing control system in the pilot area.Secondly, the construction scheme of the pilot area distribution network automation (equipment) is introduced in detail. This paper analyzes the current situation and problems in the operation and maintenance management of the pilot area distribution network, and puts forward the construction requirements of the equipment layer, and designs the construction scheme, and introduces the design scheme of the equipment fault automatic processing.Thirdly, the construction scheme of the pilot area self healing control station is introduced. The system platform is built to meet the needs of all kinds of intelligent terminal to meet all kinds of intelligent terminal access, to meet the needs of the optical fiber and wireless communication, and to meet the needs of the professional application, and the software and hardware of the system have the ability to expand.Finally, the function of fault automatic processing is tested. The test results show that the switch is accurate, consistent with the logic, fault location is accurate, and the status of the distribution network is accurate, and there is no systematic risk.
