Distribution network is an important part of the power grid,with many lines and complex systems.At present,there are deficiencies in China's distribution network such as unreasonable network structure,poor holistic communication capacity,and low degree of automation.Distribution network automation can not only make the entire power grid system stable and power supply secure,but also effectively avoid blackouts.In order to implement the central government's development strategy for revitalizing the northeast old industrial base and realize the power grid development plan during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period in Liaoning,the Shenyang Power Supply Company of the State Grid based on the "13th Five-Year Plan" Distribution Automation Implementation Opinions formulated by the State Grid Corporation of China.The intelligent distributed power distribution automation demonstration project has been carried out.This paper relies on the intelligent distributed power distribution automation demonstration project of Shenyang Hunnan,and conducts in-depth research on the issues related to the automation of power distribution network reconstruction in the Hunnan area of Shenyang.The distribution network automation technology is analyzed by this paper,including the main principles and characteristics of the application of automation technology for distribution network,the specific functions of the distribution network automation technology,and the constituent elements of the distribution network automation system.The research shows that the distribution network automation technology can effectively ensure the safety,stability,efficiency,and low energy consumption of the entire power system,and it is conducive to the promotion of the holistic economic development of the Shenyang region and the promotion of the convenience of people's lives.This paper studies the current situation of the distribution network in the Hunnan area of Shenyang,and analyzes the main problems of the primary grid and the distribution equipment in the distribution network in the Hunnan area of Shenyang.The research shows that the current distribution network in Hunnan cannot meet the demand for electricity load,the holistic communication capacity is poor,and the grid structure is unreasonable,which is not conducive to the long-term development of the power grid of Shenyang Hunnan area.Based on this situation,theautomation planning goals of Shenyang Southern Distribution Network are proposed,in order to enhance the level of power grid automation.The primary grid structure of Hunnan Power Distribution Network has been optimized and transformed to complete the construction of the entire power grid in Hunnan area,including power distribution automation master station system,feeder automation system,power distribution module and terminal system,and power distribution communication network.Afterwards,the entire network in Hunnan area has obtained the improvement of standardization,stability,versatility,safety,and reliability.The reliability of power distribution network distribution in Hunnan New District of Shenyang increased from the original 99.83% to 99.94%.
