A perfect, mature and reliable calibration tool can greatly improve the ECU development efficiency. ASAM organization proposed ASAM MCD model for calibration system, the standard system has won the recognition and application of most major automobile manufacturers in the world. This paper designed and implemented the engine general remote calibration system, which is based on ASAM MCD standard and the GPRS transmission technology.First, this paper deeply studied CAN bus protocol, CCP protocol and TCP/IP protocol, analyzed the functional requirements of the system, put forward the design scheme of the system; Second, divided the function modules of PC calibration software, completed the design of calibration software on the Lab VIEW platform, mainly including the completion of the ASAM standard and calibration, monitoring, management, communication and other functions; Third, analyzed the functional requirements of the remote communication terminal, introduced the hardware development principle of the terminal, and completed the development of the application layer driver; Finally, designed experiments and tested the functions of the system.Test results show that the calibration system is stable and reliable, basically meet the application requirements in engine calibration experiment. At the same time, tests also show GPRS that communication rate limits the overall acquisition rate of the system, and the sensitivity and response of the real-time data acquisition and display will be influenced. Therefore it is quite necessary to improve the data transmission rate of the communication terminal.
