Design And Implementation Of Travel Information Service System On Expressway

With the rapid development of expressway industry in our country, to improve expressway management, strengthen the public service ability of the expressway, in particular, to provide comprehensive diversity of expressway travel service for the society, has become an important part of the development strategy of expressway management departments. A travel information service system on expressway for the expressway information service in Liaoning province is designed and implemented.In this thesis, requirement of the travel information service system on expressway is analyzed. Modules including service handling form management, role management, information publishing, statistical analysis and inquiry, reports management and print management are designed. The design of logic and physical structure of system database are completed. Main functions of the system including distributing, modifying, recovering service handling forms and publishing the traffic information, the construction information, weather information and the other emergency announcements are implemented. At the same time, the system hardware deployment solution is discussed. The system is designed to support the real-time data exchange with other platform to prevent itself from being "an information isolated island". Each user of the system is assigned a role and will get the corresponding interface of an operation according to its role.The system performance and functional testing show that it can meet users’ requirement and achieve the desired goals.
