The suspension system is one of the most important components of the vehicle. Whether excellent or not of the suspension system is directly related to the realization of other superior performance of automobile. At present, passive suspension systems are still widely used by vehicle. The performance parameters of the passive suspension can not be changed once it is selected, which can not guarantee the smoothness for vehicle. For the people’s realization of many other excellent performance of automobile, active suspension came into being. Its control strategy is still being the interesting subject for experts and scholars.In this thesis, the research on the active suspension control strategy of electric vehicle is developed, the contents is following: On the basis of the theory of active suspension at home and abroad, the vehicle virtual prototype model of two degree of freedom is set up by ADAMS/View software, in first. The model is imported into the MATLAB/Simulink environment through the ADAMS/Control to prepare for the co-simulated. The fuzzy PID control algorithm is built up under MATLAB/Simulink environment to complete the vertical vibration control and the control algorithm validation of the vehicle when the vehicle is in a straight line. Then, each subsystem of the virtual prototype model of the whole vehicle is builted, and the constraints between them are set up, complete the vehicle model. The fuzzy control algorithm is builted up under MATLAB/Simulink environment. Complete the fuzzy control between ADAMS and MATLAB.simulate the body roll angle under the two conditions of steering wheel step and serpentine are completed. The time response and the frequency response of passive suspension and active suspension are contrasted to vertify the body roll angle and effectiveness of the control algorithm.The results show that the active suspension with fuzzy PID control algorithm can significantly reduce the body acceleration, suspension travel and tire dynamic deflection, which improve the ride comfort of the vehicle. And the active suspension with fuzzy control algorithm can restrain the roll attitude when vehicle make a turn, which is good to improve the handling stability of vehicle.
