Characteristic of Commercial Vehicle Equipped with Wet ClutchCompared with the traditional dry clutch, the wet clutch has more advantages in the torque capacity, reliability, thermal performance and service life and so on,so wet clutch is widely used in automobile automatic transmissions. This paper is relied on an university-enterprise cooperational project, and studied the torque characteristics of wet clutch and its influence to starting quality during the process of vehicle starting,the main research contents in this paper are as follows:(1) Combined with the theoretical study of wet clutch at home and abroad, this paper analyzed the the process of wet clutch engagement and the film properties of the cooling lubricant between the friction plates,studied the friction coefficient of friction materials and sticky temperature characteristics of cooling lubricant with the related datas.(2) Built the vehicle’s starting dynamic mathematical model, and simulated it with MATLAB software and AMESim softwares.(3) According to the simulation results, this paper studied the influence of several factors, such as the pressure, cooling oil’s temperature,engine speed and so on,to the wet clutch’s torque characteristic.(4) On the basis of analyzing the influences of starting-up for vehicle qualities with different pressures, researched and established the fuzzy control strategy of starting-up for vehicle. Optimized the membership functions and fuzzy rules of the pressure fuzzy controller through genetic algorithm, and simulated the optimized vehicle’s starting model.(5) Finished the starting road tests, analysed the torque characteristics and its influence on starting stationarity in the starting process.The above research in this paper will has certain theoretical and practical significance for the research on the product and technology development of wet clutch,and the more extensive application in automobile automatic transmission products.
