With the rapid development of automobile technology, automotive safety in the last ten years has made a qualitative leap from conventional mechanical braking system to the current electronic braking. Anti-lock system as an electronic brake system representative of the products has been become a standard passenger car active safety technology for the people’s life and property safety to provide a higher and higher security. When driving on different road adhesion coefficient, ABS anti-lock braking system detects a vehicle running state by the wheel speed sensor and according to the state of motion of each wheel, it adjusts the brake wheel cylinder brake fluid pressure to ensure all four wheels always keep the non-locking state, so as to ensure braking performance and braking stability of the vehicle.Foreign R & D and testing technology ABS anti-lock system has been very mature product, but most domestic enterprises ABS is maintained at the development stage. Although there are individual enterprises who have some products have entered the market, there is a considerable gap in the performance with foreign mature products. With the development of China’s automotive electronic braking systems, the development of brake-related laws; regulations improve methods for testing and evaluation of automotive electronic braking system are even more imminent. Now, with the rapid development of the hardware in the loop technology, various automobile R & D institutions and universities have HIL mature technology used in automotive product development process controller, electronic brake system controller in the development of hardware loop test method has become a major method for the foreign testing ABS anti-lock system performance. Anti-lock braking system ABS HIL test solve some problems effectively which real vehicle brake test faced with, however, the relatively late development of domestic technology in the passenger car ABS anti-lock system hardware in the loop testing and performance evaluation has not yet formed a complete system. This research is related to China’s automotive electronic braking system hardware what is aim to provide some reference in the ring test. The paper indicates that the current research analyzes the status of the development of automotive electronic braking systems, which describes the current situation at home and abroad hardware in the loop testing technology. ABS is combined with the existing hardware in the loop test bench design. This paper presents a ring test bench designed with the d SPACE real-time simulation, hardware-based systems. Design of mechanical part of the test station, electrical parts, signal acquisition and processing section, pedal actuation systems and explores different forms of wheel speed simulation program, and a section of the vehicle ABS is embedded into hardware in the loop testing environment. The test station of the wheel speed and pedal actuation systems are verified. The ABS anti-lock braking system test programs and evaluation methods in this paper presents preliminary vehicle ABS anti-lock system hardware loop test and evaluation methods in the program. The proposed combination of ABS anti-lock system hardware in the loop testing program includes three parts, the paper d SPACE real-time simulation system; Car Sim vehicle dynamics model based on a section of ABS anti-lock system; a number of test conditions HIL testing, including: linear emergency braking, brake docking road, off road braking and cornering brake and other conditions. Experimental data that showed the performance of ABS anti-lock braking system is analyzed, which made the ABS anti-lock braking system hardware in the loop test related evaluation parameters. This paper presents the first braking of the vehicle with the road surface adhesion strength the ratio of the system to evaluate the ABS anti-lock braking system of the vehicle throughout the course of the road adhesion coefficient utilization. By varying the relationship between this parameter curves, it can be analyzed in different ABS anti-lock system on the same test conditions on the road adhesion coefficient use good or bad. At the same time this paper also made a preliminary study for ABS anti-lock braking system failure test and subjective evaluation. In the last of the paper, the research content of this thesis are summarized and discussed.
