| China is an ancient agricultural country, in which most of the population lives in rural areas. Various factors such as unique geographical environment, climate differences in climate and living style, have contributed to the richness of the rural landscape and cultural resources. In recently years, great changes have taken place in rural areas due to the development of urbanization process, e.g. the transition from traditional rural landscape to modern one. However, several problems are gradually appear in the transition process under the urbanized advancement’s impact. Therefore, some measures are needed to promote the healthy development of rural landscape.This study focuses on the homeland planning theory and methodology of rural landscape, to reserve its integrity and local cultural characteristics and promote the sustainable development through applying a series of measures, such as mining cultural value, improving the eco-environment, and creating the better living environment, etc. The main body of this paper is divided into three parts, i.e. current situation and analysis, theory and methods, planning and design and systematically describes the homeland planning under the guidance of rural landscape planning theory and methods.Current situation and analysis. The first chapter summaries the related work on rural landscape construction situation, especially, the research on the China’s current rural landscape is analyzed, and come to the conclusion that the traditional local characteristics of rural landscape is gradually losing., and put forward the necessity of the homeland of the planning. Finally, the homeland planning is presented.Theory and methods. The second chapter and the third chapter firstly elaborate some related conception about homeland planning and rural landscape, and then analyze the theoretical source and the impact on homeland landscape. Lastly, both the classification method and morphology are also discussed.Planning and design. In the fourth chapter, the design principle of rural landscape is reviewed under the guidance of hometown planning. The current status and design scheme of QianWangZhuang village are discussed in the fifth section. |
