With the rapid development of transportation, rail vehicles become a means of indispensable, safe and comfortable transportation in People’s daily life in the modern society. But with the speed of train having been improved fast, the issue of traffic safety is prominent increasingly. At the same time, the traffic accidents happened more and more frequently, so the problem of safety and reliability of the train should be given much more attention and solved in urgent. High-Speed Train Transmission System is an important part transmitting torque on a high speed train, which can ensure the train run smoothly. If this part breaks down, it will happen different severity of traffic accidents, which may bring economic loss or even endanger people’s life. Therefore, using the test rig to overhaul the safety and reliability of the transmission system, thus don’t have to consider high operating costs and also avoid the risk of road test. When the transmission system occurs problems, we can solve them in time and do further optimization analysis, improving the operation condition of the train. The paper mainly researches on the Reliability Testing Equipment of High-Speed Train Transmission System. After fully understanding the development of many kinds of testing rigs based on some parts of the train and the research of transmission system at home and abroad, we tried our best to do further research and developed a set of monitor and early warning system. The specific work is as follows:1.Use the 3D software UG to simplify the important parts of reliability testing equipment of High-Speed Train transmission system, for example the gear box. Use the engineering software ANSA to divide the tetrahedral grid and the finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate. During the simulation, we considered the interaction of the gear box, oil and so on. Through that, we can analysis the heat distribution when the gear box reaches thermal equilibrium under certain test conditions. Before doing the finite element analysis, we need to select the appropriate calculation formula to calculate the heat loss form heat sources and some parts of convection heat-transfer coefficients of gear box, which can provide the reference data for setting the boundary conditions in finite element analysis. The simulation results will provide theoretical guidance for ensuring the exact temperature sensors’ position on gear box of the testing rig. Thus makes the testing reflect the operation of the equipment more effectively and find problems in time to avoid damaging the test rig or occurring accidents.2. Use ANSYS to analysis the transient dynamics under testing conditions of the vibration of the shaft assembly including gear box, vibration at the ends of the shaft and calculate the stress and strain distribution of vibration on shaft assembly later. Therefore when installing the stress and strain sensors, we can based on the analysis results.3. Monitoring and Early-warning System of Reliability Testing Equipment of High-Speed Train Transmission System is designed based on VB6.0. The system uses several kinds of sensors to collect information, in order to real-time monitor the operation of the testing equipment. The user can set thresholds according to their own demands. If the parameters without the threshold, the system will automatically warn to ensure the normal operation of testing equipment.4.Through the indoor test, we compare the temperature information collecting by the system with the data obtained by the finite element simulation, which can verify the accuracy of the simulation and the reliability of the monitoring early warning system.
