Railway passenger special line has fast speed, high technology standard, it puts forwardmore strict requirements for subgrade deformation, especially for settlement and deformation,and it is particularly important for the collapsible loess area subgrade. Therefore, strictlycontrol post-construction settlement, master settlement deformation law, put forwardsettlement monitoring and a warning method is one of the researches about control subgradesettlement deformation in collapsible loess area.Zhengzhou-Xi’an passenger line is the first high-speed railway through the collapsibleloess area in China; it goes up to350km/h. It uses frantic jumble no track. Thegeomorphology along the road mostly is loess accumulated landscape feature, the whole linecontains a collapsible loess all of the collapsible level. Strictly controlling the work ofsubgrade settlement after deformation has the important meaning to ensure safety andimprove passenger special line running special passenger line economic benefits.Through the material investigation, site investigation, theoretical analysis method, thisarticle master geological conditions of the engineering and the main factors of influencesubgrade settlement, and combining with site actual condition, select subgrade settlementmonitoring method and monitoring instruments, according to the monitoring section subgradefeature and parameters put forward the subgrade settlement monitoring programme, layoutmonitoring system, and monitor the change of different depth of vertical settlement of thesubgrade, subgrade humidity and subgrade horizontal, according to the relationship betweeneach monitoring parameters and the subgrade settlement, and the correlation of change rule,sure early-warning index, according to deformation requirement of Zhengzhou-Xi’anpassenger line of subgrade post-construction settlement, establish the early-warning levelsystem. And on the basis, preliminary develop railway subgrade settlement monitoring andwarning system that based on the internet.
