The correct command of Metro dispatchers determines the safety and efficiency of metro network. In recent years, with the expansion of the metro scale, the increasing of the passenger number and the line length, and the contraction of running interval, the metro dispatcher team is facing difficult challenges. In face of emergencies, the rapid response ability and efficient processing for the dispatcher is closely related to the situational awareness. Good situational awareness is the precondition of reasonable scheduling strategies, as well as the important guarantee of metro operation safety. In view of this, based on the metro safe operation demand, this paper studied the dispatch team situation in use of the experimental method, in order to explore the effect of whether delivery whole line information on big screen and task complexity to the dispatcher team situation awareness.First of all, according to the different emergencies treatment process and the characteristics of the dispatching team work, this paper established "detain trains" to be a typical task, which is the task prototype of experiment. Secondly, according to the experiment requirements, the experimental interface was drew, the program was wrote and the experimental platform was set up. The experimental variables are information delivery mode and task complexity. The information display mode are divided into two levels:one is delivery the full information, the other is none screen with whole line information; Task complexity is divided into two levels:one is that the number of trains need to detains much more, one is the number is less. The dependent variable including personal situational awareness, mutual situation awareness, mental load score and team performance. Through experiments of 20 subjects, the conclusions are as follows:(1) The effect of information delivery mode on personal situational awareness, mutual situation awareness, mental load score and team performance were all significantly. The screen with full information can effectively improve the team members’ personal situational awareness, as well as mutual situation awareness, can reduce mental load score and improve team performance.(2) The effect of task complexity on personal situational awareness, mutual situation awareness, mental load score and team performance were significantly. Under the condition of complex task, the situational awareness score of team members was lower, the mental load was higher, and the average time of detaining train was shorter.(3) Situation awareness score measured in the fault recognition stage and situation awareness score measured in the detaining trains stage exist positive correlation, which suggested that the experiment task can only be frozen once in use of SAGAT to measure situation awareness.(4) In the field of metro traffic control center dispatching team, personal situation awareness positively correlates mutual situation awareness。The results of this study can provide reference and advice on the optimization of metro control center delivery system; and the conclusions can also provide theory basis for equipping metro station operation department, as the standby control center, with information delivery system.
