Study On The Planning Of Tourist Town Based On Cultural Characteristics

With the rapid urban development, China attaches great importance to the update construction of small towns. In recent years, with the coming of the era of leisure tourism, cultural industry combined with tourist industry continues to be heated, which can effectively promote local economic development. Therefore, towns with great natural and human resource can develop cultural tourism, which can meet modern urban functions and improve people’s live. Through related research, author has planning the cultural tourist area of "Fuzhou Ancient Town" in Fuling, Chongqing.Firstly, from cultural characteristics perspective, paper elaborates theory and researches about domestic and foreign historical and cultural tourist towns as well as Chongqing urban renewal, which can provide theoretical basis for planning and design of the cultural tourist area of "Fuzhou Ancient Town" in Fuling, Chongqing.Secondly, paper tells ancient history and existing problems of the cultural tourist area of "Fuzhou Ancient Town", and also discusses developing direction and breakthrough of planning based on theory research.Thirdly, paper introduces about relevant case studies.
