Urban railway transit system has been used in capital cities and metropolitans, because of its characteristics like huge volume, environmentally friendly, efficient and high punctuality rate. To strength the relationships between main city and its satellite cities, government tend to extend their railway lines to its satellite cities. In these satellite cities, there is only one railway transit line, which is different from the urban railway transit system in main city. This paper firstly analyzed the relationship between urban rail transit and the satellite cities, and studied on the characteristic of the demand for urban transit rail sections in the satellite cities. This paper especially stated the influence on satellite cities after urban rail transit operated. Based on the analyses above, this paper summarized the public transit development strategies in satellite cities, and researched the urban rail transit and bus coordination theory. To reveal the influence of urban railway transit, this paper proposed a model to describe the direct and indirect attractive area, which is one of cores of the paper. This area can tell the advantage region, competing with buses or cars when travelling to the central city.In the attractive area, this paper selected suitable traffic zones and bus stations. Regarding the sum of total travel time and operation cost as objective function, this paper proposed bus transferring optimization model and genetic algorithm.Based on the Chengdu Metro Line 2 stastics, this paper chose the suitable traffic area and bus stations in indirect attractive area. This paper applied the known OD stastics to the model and genetic algorithm, and got the result of optimized bus routes.
