Study On The Recreational Safety Evaluation Of The Riparian Zone In Wuhan Urban Wetland Park

Wetland is one of the three ecosystems in the nature. As a vital component in the urban wetland park, the riparian zone landscape gets all the time of people love. It also can be seen as the edge transition area of the interaction between water and land ecosystem.However, our country at present is in the accelerating development process of urban wetland park, during this period, some security issues are constantly appearing, which could not be ignored.Furthermore, it is also worth mentioning that the global climate change, especially some natural disasters, could have very serious impacts on safety of wetland riparian zone, which may cause a sense of insecurity among visitors, even threatening the life of people. Based on this situation, how to ensure the visitors’ safety has became a vital issue for landscape architects. Taking Houguan Lake Wetland Park, East Lake National Wetland Park and Jinyin Lake National Urban Wetland Park as example, this paper tries to focus on the riparian zones of Wuhan urban wetland parks, the main research results are as follows:1. Through analyzing the domestic and foreign-related research, this paper defines the basic concept of the riparian zone in the urban wetland park, aiming at establishing a set of scientific, reasonable and operational evaluation system.of recreational safety.2. After summarizing the current situation of research subjects, most detailed questionnaires and proposals were collected in the three locations. Then this paper uses Fish Bone Fig Method to select the evaluation indicators. The related data collected before is analyzed by the establishment of evaluation index system, which is composed by two criterion layers( safety of the site and management) and 18 measurement indexes(safety of surrounding environment, waterscape safety, etc.). Then experts get the weights of every indexes.3.By using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), this paper puts emphasis on the comprehensive and single factor of recreational safety evaluation. Houguan Lake Wetland Park, East Lake National Wetland Park and Jinyin Lake National Urban Wetland Park are applied to the evaluation model by the way of description of evaluation criteria and the last score is 4.1408, 3.5982 and 3.8985.It was concluded that the riparian zone in East Lake National Wetland Park is not safe enough for visitors, and Jinyin Lake National Urban Wetland Park has reached the standard, Houguan Lake Wetland Park is the best among the research subjects.4. Finally, this paper lists the problems of Wuhan urban wetland park and corresponding suggestions. It hopes to promote sustainable development of riparian zone in urban wetland park, at the same time, giving some guidance for the future related research on the urban wetland park.
