The Application And Research Of Key Technology Of Dust Control In Large Public Building Construction Site

In recent years, fog and haze continually attacked many regions of our country and caused serious harmful effect on people’s health, which have attracted increasing social concerns. Environmental air quality is restricted and influenced by many factors, among which the dust pollution is one of the main factors. Thus, the study on how to taking measures to reduce dust in large construction site is significant in improving air quality.Through the analysis of the new campus construction project of China’s environmental management cadre institute, key technologies of dust control in large public building construction site are put forward in this paper, from the point of project features and main difficulties and counterpart solutions. The main results are as follow:1. Multi-layered dust control should be arranged from project planning, architectural design, structural design to on-site construction. In the process of construction organization, earthwork, foundation engineering, major structure and decoration construction, the on-site dust pollution should be detected and characterized according to procedures and methods.2. In project preparation period, we suggest that the construction site should be dynamically arranged and effectively railed according to its characteristics. Earthwork should be well balanced to reduce earthwork transportation amount. Closed muck car is suggested in transportation.3. In foundation engineering construction period, earthwork coverage, dust suppression agent, spray and other means are suggested. And the operation of construction machinery should be improved to maximize the efficiency of machinery.4. Advanced methods should be adopted in major structure and decoration construction as far as possible. Construction materials should be economized and avoid secondary processing on site.Besides, we suggest that all participating offices - construction units, design units, supervision units, accounting units,government departments should be mobilized and devoted to on-site dust control.The new campus construction project of China’s environmental management cadre institute implemented the principle of full-range management, throughout control and full-involved management. Effective dust control measures were taken, which ensured a smooth construction and achieved good economic and social benefits.
